Journal “Problems of Dental Medicine”

The journal “Problems of Dental Medicine” is a peer-reviewed official publication of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University - Sofia. It has been published continuously since 1973 as "Problems of Dentistry" and since 2006 its name has been changed in connection with the change of the specialty "Dentistry" into "Dental Medicine".
The journal is published twice a year, in paper and electronic versions, with free access. Includes original scientific articles, reviews and case reports, that examine scientific issues in various fields of dental medicine. Manuscripts are reviewed by habilitated faculty members under the strict supervision of an Editorial Board.
Authors who publish in the journal are mostly members of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and PhD students, but often include teachers and doctors of dental medicine from other institutions.
Until 2018, the magazine is published in Bulgarian and the abstracts are in English. Forthcoming issues will be entirely in English.
