Admission Information – Medical University of Sofia
Students admission at the Medical University of Sofia is carried out under the Ordinance on State Requirements for Admission of Students of the Ministry of Education and Science and the admission requirements of the Medical University of Sofia.
Education for all specialties at the Medical University of Sofia is in a regular form. The number of student admissions by government order and tuition fees is approved annually by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria.
At the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University of Sofia, students are trained to obtain a Masters's degree in Dental Medicine.
The Medical University of Sofia also admits students under a paid form of education following Art. 21, par. 2 of the Higher Education Act for a Master's degree in specialties from the regulated professions after completing secondary education, according to the admission capacity of the respective specialty, arranged by a contract between the students and the Medical University of Sofia.
The number of admissions for paid education students and tuition fees is approved by the Academic Council of the Medical University of Sofia.
