At a solemn ceremony in Hall Three of the National Palace of Culture, diplomas of higher education were awarded to 188 graduates of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, MU-Sofia.
 

The ceremony was opened by Prof. Dr. Boyko Bonev, Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, who welcomed the graduates with the words: "Dear colleagues, I am proud of your professionalism and dedication. May you ramain tireless in your mission as educators. Dear young doctors, today the world is becoming a little better because you are stepping into it—young, talented, and ambitious."
 

"Today is the culmination of your many years of hard work, perseverance, and pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement. I congratulate you on the achievements that have brought you to this first professional peak. Completing your higher education is not only a personal triumph, but also the beginning of a great responsibility—to serve with all your integrity and dedication to the health and well-being of society," emphasized the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Boycho Lanjov, in his address.
 

For the first time in the history of the Faculty of Dental Medicine's graduation ceremonies, the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev, was in attendance. In his address to the graduates he stated that medicine is the most complex field of human knowledge, requiring boundless faith in people and goodness. The President also noted that educating doctors is a mission, and the Faculty of Dental Medicine is the undisputed leader in this field," Mr. Rumen Radev emphasized.
 

Among the official guests were also Vice-Rectors, the Chief Secretary of MU-Sofia, the Deans of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Public Health, the Course Director of the class of 2025, department heads, and faculty members.
 

Congratulatory addresses were received from representatives of institutions, including the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Krasimir Valchev, the President of the World Dental Federation, Dr. Nikolay Sharkov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Dental Association, Dr. Rumen Iliev, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Director of DEOS, the Deans of the Faculties of Dental Medicine in Plovdiv and Varna, and the Director of the Branch of the Medical University, Sofia - "Prof. Ivan Mitev" - Vratsa.
 

The diplomas of the top two dental medicine graduates, Dr. Ilkan Seidov and Dr. Julian Woehler, were presented by the Rector of MU-Sofia.

With the awarding of the diplomas to the class of 2025, the Faculty of Dental Medicine at MU-Sofia marked the beginning of the professional career of the next generation of dentists - young, prepared, and motivated to serve society.
