The new academic year was solemnly inaugurated with a welcoming address by the Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine Prof. Dr. Boyko Bonev, for the 135 first-year students enrolled in the English-language program. In his speech to the newly admitted students, the Dean emphasized that from today they begin their exciting journey into the world of dental medicine — a profession that requires not only knowledge and skills but also empathy and integrity.
 

The ceremony was led by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirela Marinova-Takorova, and was attended by Prof. Dr. Elitsa Deliverska — Vice Rector of the Medical University of Sofia, Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Maria Dencheva and Assoc. Prof. Dr. N. Mitova, as well as heads of departments and faculty members.
 

The sixth-year student Basel Salah from Germany congratulated the newly admitted students and urged the future dental practitioners to provide the best possible care for their patients with responsibility and dedication. Warm greetings and words of guidance were also shared by Dr. Kardo Ravandouzi, a 2024 graduate of our Faculty.
 

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of student record books by Prof. Dr. Elitsa Deliverska, in her capacity as course leader for the newly admitted students.
