For the first time the Faculty of Dental Medicine had the pleasure to welcome as a guest lecturer prof. Dimitra Sakellari. Prof. Sakelari is а Head of the Department of Preventive Dental Medicine, Periodontology and Implant Biology at the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece. On 15.12.2023 she presented a lecture on "Periodontal Medicine. Contemporary Concepts" in front of colleagues and students. The event was attended by Vice Dean prof. Emilia Karova. The lecture focused on the relationship between periodontitis and some significant diseases and conditions in modern medicine, citing data from meta-analyses and own research.

Prof. Sakellari was the host under the ERASMUS+ program for teaching mobility, in which Assoc. Doseva and Dr. Pashova took part in the period 16-19.10.2023.
