Criteria for evaluation of students' knowledge from semester and state exams

I. SEMESTER EXAMS
1. Evaluation of theoretical knowledge – the average grade from the semester theoretical grades + the grade from the theoretical exam.
- Semester grades are based on the results from colloquia, seminars and tests.
2. Evaluation of practical skills – the average grade from the semester practical training grades + the grade from the practical exam.
- In case of a poor grade from the practical exam, the student is not permitted to attend the theoretical exam. The practical exam is repeated during the next examination sessions.
- In case of a practical exam grade lower than „good 4.00” and a poor grade from the theoretical exam, the practical exam is repeated.
3. Final grade – based on the grades for theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Each department determines the significance of the grade for practical skills, depending on the specifics of its educational program.
In case of a poor grade on one of the components, the exam is repeated during the next examination sessions.
INTORDUCTION OF THE GRADING SYSTEM – at the beginning of the training in the respective discipline.
II. COMPLETION OF THE STATE INTERNSHIP
Successful defence of the results of the complex approach to the treatment of a patient .
DEADLINE FOR INTORDUCTION – from the academic year 2021/22.
III. STATE EXAMS
The grade is based on student’s level of knowledge during the state exam.
Components of the grade:
1. Test in each of the disciplines.
- Criteria for test evaluation:
≤ 59% - poor 2
60% - 69% - fair 3
70% - 79% - good 4
80% - 89% - very good 5
> 90% - excellent 6
2. Written question/s, clinical case/s, etc., depending on the specificity of the discipline.
3. Final grade – average value of the grades of the different components.
In case of a poor grade on one of the components, the exam is repeated during the next examination sessions.
