Since 2012 - Associate professor at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dental Medicine – Sofia;
2006-2012 - Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at MU-Varna (2006-2010) and head of the Department of Oral, maxillofacial surgery, periodontology and special imaging diagnostics to MU-Varna (2006-2012);
1999-2006 - Chief assistant professor;

2006-2012 – First Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine to MU-Varna and head of the Department of Oral, maxillofacial surgery, periodontology and special imaging, member of the Academic Council of MU-Varna and chairman of the Faculty Council of the FDM-Varna;
Since 2005 – Member of the Faculty Council of FDM-Sofia;
2005 – Promoted by the Higher Accreditation Committee for the scientific title "Associate Professor".

Since 2015 - National consultant in ORAL SURGERY; Head of the Expert Council in MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY at the Ministry of Health;
Since 2010 - Expert of NAOA to the Standing Committee on Health and Sport in the professional Direction 7.2 Dentistry – Chairman and member of expert groups;
2006-2010 - Councilor for Bulgaria in EACMFS (European Association for Cranio and Maxillofacial Surgery);
Since 2016 - Member of the Executive Board of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Bulgaria;

2006-2009 - Member of the Specialized Scientific Council of Stomatology and Maxillofacial surgery at the Higher Accreditation Committee.

Scientific activity:

Author and coauthor of 57 scientific publications in international and Bulgarian editions;
Co-author in 6 textbook in oral and maxillofacial surgery;
Chairman of 6 Sessions of international scientific congresses, participant in 47 International and Bulgarian Scientific Forum;
Member of 6 editorial colleges of international and Bulgarian scientific Journals.

Awards:

2006 - Honorary plaque of the Bulgarian Association of Oral Implantology on the occasion of the founding of the Association;
2010 - Honorary Diploma and honorary sign of the medical University – Varna for merit in creating, developing and raising the academic authority of the Faculty of Dental Medicine;
2011 - Jubilee plaque on the occasion of 50 years Medical University – Varna for its huge contribution to the creation, development and validation of the Faculty of Dental Medicine;
2016 - Honorary diploma from the Bulgarian Association of Oral Implantology on the occasion its 10th anniversary.
