The power of attorney should be legalized, with a certified translation in Bulgarian. If issued on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, the power of attorney should be notarized.

Announcement of the EU and EEC Citizens’ Ranking – 17.09.2020
EU and EEC citizens are ranked by score which is calculated as the sum of marks in biology and chemistry of the high school diploma and the marks they receive in English, biology in English and chemistry in English of the competitive exams. Maximum score: 30.00.
The ranking of EU and EEC citizens is based on art. 21, paragraph 2 of the Higher Education Act at places, approved by the Academic Council of the Medical University-Sofia upon a proposal of the Deans of faculties according to the free capacity of the specialty.
Note: If one of the components of the exam is not taken successfully, the exam is considered to have been failed.

Admission of third-country nationals
Admission of foreign citizens from countries not members of the EU and EEC and Confederation Switzerland / third countries /:
Admission of applicants with dual citizenship
Students with dual citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian and the other one from an EU/EEA member state, shall be admitted under the terms and conditions and within the due order as for the Bulgarian citizens (after an entrance exam in Biology and Chemistry, as for the Bulgarian candidate students).
Students with dual citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian and the other one from an EU/EEA member state, who have completed their secondary education in an EU/EEA member state, and who wish to study in English shall be admitted by Art. 21, Para 2 of the Higher Education Act by sitting an entrance exam in English, and an entrance exam in Biology and Chemistry in English. Once admitted, the students shall pay the fixed annual fee for the Bulgarian nationals admitted under a paid form of education plus the tuition fee for English education (International Students). The amount of the fees due is set by a Decision of the Academic Council for the respective academic year.
Students with dual citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian and the other one from a non-EU/non-EEA member state (third-country nationals), but who have completed their secondary education in the Republic of Bulgaria, regardless of their second nationality, shall be admitted under the terms and conditions and within the due order as for the Bulgarian citizens.
Students with dual citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian and the other one from a non-EU/non-EEA member state (third-country nationals), who have completed their secondary education abroad, shall be admitted under the terms and conditions and within the due order determined for non-EU/non-EEA member state (third-country nationals), shall pay 50% of the fee for the international students.
